ESPN recently featured the touching story of young Georgia Bulldog fan Megan Twist, who suffered a severe car accident and head injury on November 26, 2016, in Jacksonville, and donated her lungs to a UESPN Transplant NDEniversity of Florida fan and sarcoidosis sufferer Richard Bremer.

Amazingly, during the transplant surgery, Richard reported that a young woman greeted him in a light-filled near-death experience and told him it wasn’t his time. When he awakened in his hospital bed, he saw a news report about Megan’s death and told his family that it was Megan he saw in the light. He then learned that he had received her lungs.

The experience changed Richard on many levels, including shifting his football loyalty
from the Florida Gators to the Georgia Bulldogs!

November 28 – Thanksgiving in the U.S. -- marks the 8th anniversary of Megan’s transition and generous organ donation. IANDS is holding Megan and her family in our hearts and sending love and light. We also wish Richard continuing good health and we thank him for helping build awareness of near-death experiences.
