Tuesday, Jan 19 -- featured speaker/topic – Rita Hildebrandt, Experiencer -- In her late twenties in the midst of intense inner work with her spiritual teacher, Rita regressed to the womb of her mother and experienced herself as a fetus with a sense of asphyxiation and her soul moving out of the womb into the Source – a contact that remained as a spiritual guidance throughout her life. She contacted her mother and received the story of what actually happened that helped explain the particular way that she operated in the world that did not seem to fit with the norm of people's experiences. It was not until 2013, though, when she was attending a spiritual retreat, that she received the final piece of information that completed the understanding of her unusual way of being. Rita will describe her profound personal experiences pointing to the existence of a reality and consciousness that is the Source of life, death and beyond and that is the core consciousness of each and every one of us as the soulful co-creators of our human experience here on earth. Her background combines a wide range of experiences, from foreign language teacher, to corporate executive, to spiritual counselor and visual artist. She has a bachelor's degree in Psychology and training in the Expressive Arts. Since 1991 she has been giving readings and consultations to people in the US and internationally and facilitated groups in the Expressive Arts, Dreams and the unfolding of the Soul in the human experience. Tuesday, Feb 16 -- featured speaker/topic – Louisa Peck, Author, Near-Death Experiencer: In 1982 at a Manhattan nightclub, recent Vassar grad Louisa and her date purchased a bag of "cocaine" that did nothing to get them high, though it had passed the test of numbing gums. "You can do it all," said her date. So Louisa snorted what turned out to be a full gram of lidocaine (also known as xylocaine) - a general anesthetic that shut down her cardio-pulmonary functions resulting in a grand-mal seizure followed by cardiac arrest. While a bartender performed CPR, Louisa's spirit shot out of her body like a rocket, high over the open ocean, beginning her journey to the Light. Upon her return, 22-year-old Louisa, who fancied herself an existential atheist, found a way to explain away her experience and stuff her deeper sense of truth in a psychic lock-box. All went well for 5 years until, walking off a hangover on a Gloucester, MA, beach in the midst of an early morning storm, she encountered a exceptionally curious grizzled individual dressed in turn of the century Macintosh rain gear and staring anxiously at the empty horizon as if for a ship.... So began a series of 13 paranormal events, or "Weird Things," that relentlessly decimated Louisa's empiricist view of the world, overlapping with a hold on sobriety with which she has been graced since 1995. Louisa's stories relates the interwoven strands of healing from the pains behind her addiction and increasing faith in and reliance upon the powers of Good from the other side as she helps others trapped by addiction. Tuesday, Jun 21 -- featured speaker/topic – Robin Aisha Landsong, Experiencer, Author, Artist, Singing Medicine, Craniosacral Therapist: Robin Aisha was abducted at eight years old from the US and taken to Africa. Arriving in Rhodesia during the Bush War she was separated from the man who kidnapped her. She spent the night alone in the bush, then made her way to a tribe who gave her water, food, and safety. The tribe became her new family. They taught her how to sing their songs, and how to plant and harvest. Mama Eahton adopted her as she became one of the tribe. The village was peaceful until a faction of armed guerrillas rode in shouting and making threats. One week later, in a ceremony full of dancing, drums, and celebration she was given the name Aisha (which means “she is life”). Days later, the guerrillas came again, and shot her while she played in the grass. The bullet grazed her head causing severe blood loss. "I crossed over into death." Come and listen as Robin Aisha tell of the five beings leading her through the confusion and pain to acceptance, peace, and to profound love. How Mama Eahton's wailing turned to song and why she chose to return "like a long stream of light from a stained glass window." Visit her web site Robin Aisha Landsong's art

Tuesday, Dec 20 -- featured speaker/topic – Connie Anne Miller, Experiencer, Pediatric Occupational Therapist. Connie was born in Germany and immigrated to America in 1980. As a young child, she experienced ongoing molestation by a close family member. At the same time, she was relentlessly bullied at school. Something helped her survive this - children. Children only she could see and hear, and always there to provide blessed comfort. But she was to endure more. At 17 years of age, Connie was abducted and violently gang-raped by a group of young men. During the attack, she left her body in which she was transfused and surrounded with a glorious splendor which she will describe. Connie knew she had gone “somewhere over the line”, a different reality during a moment when her life had been in great danger. Time had passed. There was a car accident followed by an angelic encounter. Twice she crossed the 'bridge' into another dimension. Over the years, Connie's had numerous encounters with “helpful strangers”, who have been there one moment, gone the next. These 'Messengers' have brought answers to questions not consciously asked, while other times, just show up to 'check in'. Connie lives in Lancaster, CA, and is a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. Since 1992, she's specialized in working with children diagnosed with developmental delays, learning disabilities and especially autism.
