I had a near-death experience in 1999. I careered off a mountain while hiking and was (for a period of approximately 30 seconds) facing almost certain death or catastrophic injury. Despite every sinew in my body keeping me upright and alive as I lost control, my “final” 5-10 seconds were “out-worldly.”
I was on my bed. I was done eating but something in my body felt out of place. I lay down to realize that there is food inside my lungs and my body was convulsing in order to counteract the circumstances and prevail to save the lungs.
I started to feel cold, feel a chill in my side, my hands, arms, legs and fingers, as if something of a vital fluid was unable to pulse with the reciprocating brain input.
I was in a coma due to accidental lithium poisoning. I briefly flatlined during that time. The cause was my doctor overprescribed lithium for me. I had been sick for months and I didn’t know what was going on and no one did anything about it even though the signs were problematic and apparently obvious and overt. Sometime during my time in the ER my lithium level was checked and it was at a toxic level. Poison Control was called to help manage my care.
I fell asleep around 11:30-12 midnight 7/8/2024-7/9/2024 on the sofa in my living room. My memory starts around 12:50 AM and gets progressively more intense until I wake myself up around 1:00 AM. My camera caught this incident.
I had a dream that felt as real as me sitting here typing this. I was in a home and there was a beautiful woman that was extremely peaceful and inviting. She spoke in a way that put me at ease. I remember the interior of the home down to the color of the sheets on the bed and the cabinets / dishes in the kitchen. I remember sitting around with her and another gentleman, just talking about life and enjoying a drink.
I'll never forget the day my life almost slipped away. I had just stepped out to take a walk with my wife after we had an argument and she wanted to talk to me so we decided to walk outside away from the family. We were at my parents’ house who live on a big farm in middle Tennessee and mind you it was really late at night around twelve midnight. All we had was flashlights and lanterns.
I thought everything was okay till I thought I heard something bang like a gunshot. Next minute I heard it again and pushed my wife away from it. I was lost in thought and still not knowing where it was coming from when suddenly my chest and lower stomach were in pain, like unbelievable pain, and my wife said her leg was in pain a little.
