I was 10 years old. My 17 year old sister was curling my hair before school. It was 7 a.m. Suddenly, I felt really sick to my stomach. I told my sister that I needed to lie down, but she still had the curling iron in my hair and told me to wait a second. I couldn't. I passed out. When I landed, I hit my head on a hammer that was in the floor. Everything went black, then it turned to white. Not a light, but it was a hazy white fog. When I finally began to see through it I noticed that I was in a waiting room.
I had never seen any of these people before. There was a receptionist there. I went up to her. She said, "Can I help you little girl?" I said, "Yes, I don't know where I am, could you tell me?" She asked for my name. I gave it to her and when she turned around I noticed a wall of files. It was the biggest wall I'd ever seen and it looked as if it went on forever. She pulled a file out and said, "Ah here it is...wait." She sounded annoyed and possibly even mad. "You're not suppose to be here today." She threw the file on the counter and the sound of it hitting echoed. It echoed as everything went black again and then white.
As I came out of the haze this time, I realized that I was in the ambulance. The doctor still doesn't know what caused me to pass out, and I have never passed out before or since.
