IANDS Conference 2025 will mark a major early milestone in the history of near-death studies—we’ll be celebrating the 50th anniversary of Life after Life, the groundbreaking book by Dr. Raymond Moody that helped introduce near-death experiences (NDEs) to the mainstream.
This year’s lineup of keynote speakers brings together leaders in research, medicine, and spirituality, including two of IANDS’s founders—the aforementioned Dr. Moody and, fresh off his recent Oprah Podcast interview, Dr. Bruce Greyson.
Even more big names will join this impressive list of keynotes, too:
- You may know noted psychologist and author Dr. Diane Hennacy Powell from The Telepathy Tapes podcast. She’ll discuss human consciousness and her focus on nonverbal, autistic savants.
- Attorney and medium Mark Anthony—The Psychic Lawyer—will discuss mediumship.
- Author and human consciousness teacher Caroline Myss will discuss the relationship between emotional patterns and illness
- Famed author, producer, and It’s Time to Give a Feck author Chaz Ebert will deliver a special pre-conference address on August 26th
This year’s conference will feature lectures, workshops, and panels, as well as a healing room offering wellness sessions and services, plus an onsite bookstore.

IANDS Conference 2025 will take place August 27th through August 31st at the Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center in Oak Brook, Illinois.
