When you join IANDS, you’re joining more than an organization. You’re joining a movement aimed at creating a better world.
Our community is committed to supporting research into near-death experiences and related phenomena. We support those who’ve had NDEs, educate healthcare professionals and clergy, and work toward normalizing conversations on these topics by informing and engaging the curious public.
Why do we do this? Because every one of us faces a common human question: what happens when die?
For some, this question creates anxiety and uncertainty. It can drive deep grief and a sense of separation when we lose people we love. But those who have glimpsed the afterlife through near-death experiences can offer the world valuable lessons that reduce fear and teach us how to live our lives more fully, more compassionately, and with deeper, eternal connections to one another.

Membership Levels

Basic Membership is $49 annually
Basic membership includes a monthly “NDE of the month” email, a quarterly magazine Vital Signs delivered electronically, exclusive notifications, 50% discount on all IG&E events and on-demand videos, 10% member discounts on IANDS conferences & symposia (special member discount code provided to members by email).
Supporting Membership (Our MOST Popular!) for $99 annually
Basic level benefits plus nearly all IG&E events and on-demand videos are FREE!
Professional Membership for $149 annually
All previous benefits and The Journal of Near-Death Studies (three times a year).
Patron Membership for $500 annually
Our Patron Members receive all above benefits and immense gratitude for supporting IANDS and its mission at this higher level of financial commitment. Our Patrons are recognized at our IANDS Annual Conference.
Benefactor Membership for $1,000 annually
Our Benefactor Members are the “Angels of IANDS,” making the highest level of financial commitment. Our Benefactors are recognized at our IANDS Annual Conference.
Journal of Near-Death Studies individual subscription only, for $68 annually. Institutional subscription (libraries, universities), $398 per year.
The Journal of Near-Death Studies, a scholarly publication, peer-reviewed and published three times per year, serving as the central repository for the most current research and thought on NDEs. Includes articles by scholars from around the world, book reviews, and letters addressing issues raised in previous editions.

Renew Your IANDS Membership
For Professional, Sponsor, and Journal Subscription levels outside the US, add $10 for mailing the Journal three times per year outside the US.
