Speakers at IANDS European/ African Symposium 2026
IANDS European/ African Symposium 2026 will feature four Europeans and Africans who’ve had near-death experiences — Gina Lindroos of Sweden, Candice Purchase of South Africa, Lasse Gustavson of Sweden, and Rainier Sturm of Germany.
We’ll also hear from two leading European scientists researching NDEs and related phenomena.
Nurse, researcher, and author Dr. Penny Sartori will discuss her pioneering work conducting hospital-based research into NDEs, working with patients in intensive care units. And Professor Patrizio Tressoldi, senior researcher at the University of Padua in Italy, will discuss the “Survival Hypothesis” — the claim that we “survive” after the death of our brain.

We can’t wait to explore the extraordinary at IANDS European/ African Symposium 2026, and we do hope we’ll get to see you there. If you have any questions about this special event, please contact us and we’ll be happy to assist you.
