Past IANDS Conferences: The Early Years
While not really a Conference in the modern sense, the first IANDS “Conference” was a medical seminar held at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut in 1982. this was followed by our first clinical conference in Pembroke Pines, Florida and our first research conference in Farmington, Connecticut, both in 1984. A general conference was held In 1989, taking place in Rosemont, Pennsylvania, and then another was held in Washington, DC in 1990.
IANDS began holding annual conferences in 1993, and there’s been an IANDS Conference almost every year since, apart from 2002 and 2007. The list of IANDS Conferences in the 1990s include:

The 2020s
The world effectively shut down in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. It was a period of lockdowns, social distancing, and isolation. And during those two years, our IANDS Conferences were held online, resuming with an in-person Conference in 2022.
