It’s official: registration is now open for IANDS Conference 2025. This year’s event is taking place August 27th to August 31st in Oak Brook, Illinois at the Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center, where we’ll explore the extraordinary fields of near-death experiences and related phenomena with over 100 speakers.
Each IANDS Conference is special, but this year’s event will celebrate an important milestone—the publication of the landmark 1975 book Life After Life. This pioneering work, penned by Dr. Raymond Moody MD, is often credited with launching the field of near-death studies.

Each year, more than 800 people come together to discuss near-death experiences (NDEs), related transpersonal experiences, and more. Near-death experiencers, healthcare providers, researchers, students, and those fascinated by the phenomena will share their experiences and knowledge with our ever-growing community. IANDS Conference 2025 will feature an incredible lineup of keynote speakers, including our man of the hour, Dr. Raymond Moody. He’ll be joined by Dr. Bruce Greyson, Dr. Diane Hennacy Powell, attorney and medium Mark Anthony, author and researcher Caroline Myss, and celebrated local author Chaz Ebert, who produced her late husband Roger Ebert’s world famous TV show.
In all, there will be more than 100 speakers presenting at IANDS Conference 2025, including experiencers, doctors, psychologists, clergy, social workers, and countless others. And if hearing their presentations isn’t enough, attendees can also register to have lunch with speakers as well.
