Creative Tales From the Light
Linda Morris, Ph.D., R.N.C., C.C.R.N.
Linda Morris has been a critical care nurse for
25 years, specializing in cardiac and respiratory nursing.
For the last thirteen years, she has been researching the
near-death experience, interviewing many patients who had unusual
recollections of a period of "unconsciousness" and nurses who have
cared for patients with near-death experiences. During this
session, Linda will share many examples of patients who have
discussed how their creativity increased and was enhanced by their
near-death experience.
Linda Morris received her Bachelor's degree from Southern
Illinois University at Edwardsville in 1976; a MS from Loyola
University in 1981; and a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at
Chicago in 1998. Dr. Morris has been an instructor, guest
lecturer, and assistant professor at several colleges and
universities in the Chicago area. Currently, she is an
advanced practice nurse in respiratory care at Northwestern
Memorial Hospital and a faculty member of the Northwestern
University School of Medicine. She also owns a consulting
firm, specializing in continuing education programs for nurses and
other health professionals, has published extensively in the field
of critical care, and is a nationally known speaker in her
field. |
