Two near-death experiencers (NDErs) share what happened to them after their NDE when they described their experience to doctors, nurses and others immediately after their NDE. Long-time nursing educators Diane Corcoran and Debbie James follow this up with a discussion of the importance of an NDEr's disclosure of their experience, the reasons an NDEr might not disclose, and strategies for healthcare providers to facilitate and respond constructively and ethically to the disclosure of an NDE.
