I was involved in a car accident. I was hit by a car on the drivers side of my truck. The impact was very forceful, and I was not wearing a seatbelt. I can remember holding on very tightly to the steering wheel, but being forced into the passenger seat and through the passenger side window where I for some reason stopped. I remember a large person (man) holding me, stopping me from being ejected through the passenger side window. I replay this over and over because my thinking is that the man that held onto me, seemed to be my best friends husband. He had died

in a car accident 3 years before this.

I felt very calm, though I knew I was not breathing. The passenger side door opened and an older lady dressed in white asked me if I was okay. I told her that I thought I was, and she said to me "You know God is with you". I said I know. Then this lady was gone. I remember seeing the color blue. Everything was a very vivid almost indescribable, other worldly color of blue. I woke up being taken from my truck. The door had to be cut opened after the other car was removed. The
passenger side of my truck was crushed against a large concrete and cast iron sign. When I was in the ambulance, I remember asking where is the woman that talked to me. I was told there was no woman and there was no way anyone could have gotten in my truck, because they had to cut me out of it. Later when I saw the condition that my truck was in. I could find NO reason why or how I had lived through it. I know there is a reason as to WHY I came back. I have been searching for that reason ever since. The result of the accident was traumatic brain injury which I did recover from. I do not think that it has affected my life reatly.

Also my heart stopped one time on the way to the hospital. I have no recollection of this at all. I do believe my heart stopped at the moment I was hit. But I cannot be sure.

My feeling was not "panic" during the incident. I felt very calm. This is not a normal thing for me, I tend to freak out A LOT.

Also, though this accident occurred almost 20 years ago. It is still as vivid to me as though it had happened just yesterday. This is my experience.
