Caring Voices

I had two near-death experiences back to back, within weeks of each other. The initial experience took place after my ex-boyfriend attacked me outside my residence. He knocked me to the ground. I was flat on my back with him sitting on me cutting of my oxygen as he chocked me with both of his hands that were wrapped tightly around my neck. At one point of the attack, I physically felt as if I was floating away slowly up toward the clouds. Then I can remember everything started to get very bright and at this same time I could hear voices. Caring voices with so much love and comfort. I felt so loved and comforted as the voices reassured me that he could no longer hurt me.

The experience seemed to come to a quick end as I felt myself fall instantaneously back into my body down below. As I started to float away, I was looking down where I could see my body below as well as the back of my attacker. When I fell back into my body I began to gasp for air. I got my breath back, got up and just walked upstairs to my apartment. I didn't realize that this was a near-death experience. I recall seeing small bruises on my neck as well as a few broken blood vessels in both eyes. For the most part the NDE was a very pleasant experience.

Shortly after the first NDE, I experienced yet another NDE when I was electrocuted through my finger tips while typing on a keyboard. I was zapped and thrown off of my chair, landing across the room. When I started to recover I felt very scared and I wanted to hurry up and forget everything I had just heard. I also came back shivering and I remember the smell of something burning which I believe was coming from myself. The second experience was quite different than the first. I remember no light at all, darkness and another unforgettable memory was of me screaming and groaning. It’s definitely something I don’t want to remember.
